Saint Patrice

Patriżju is spoken in a fictitious country : Saint Patrice, an archipelago located in the Mediterranean Sea, between Sardinia and the Balearic Islands.

The Saint Patrice archipelago (Sanġ Patriżju in Patriżju) has an area of 388 square kilometres for an estimated population of 462,000 inhabitants. It consists of four islands :

  1. Sanġ Patriżju, the largest and most populous island. The capital of the Saint Patrice archipelago (Sanġ Patriżju) is located on this island.
  2. Xamxaditta, the second largest island. Its main town is Portu-Ġanku ;
  3. Kallenta ; its main town is Ib-Borġ ;
  4. And finally Falina, the smallest island ; its main town is Sanġ Ġuljan.

  1. the Swiss cross that reminds the Romansh origin of the language;
  2. the waves and the blue colour that represent the sea that surrounds the country ;
  3. and the red colour that represents the volcanic soil of the archipelago.

Saint Patrice does not use the euro, but the lira. 1 euro is worth around 100 liras.
